Team SBK Ducati Alstare has announced that further complications from the serious crash Carlos Checa suffered last weekend in Turkey have revealed a pelvis fracture at the femoral head, an injury that requires surgery and a minimum 10 week recovery time. This effectively removes him from participating in the remaining three rounds.
