The 2012 season is about to start. Dainese & AGV have decided to invest in a group of talented riders and confirm their participation in the racing world at international level.
Dainese will be dressing the Ducati Corse riders in the MotoGP class: Valentino Rossi, a long-time Dainese spokesman and AGV ambassador and, for the second year running, the US rider and 2006 world champion, Nicky Hayden.
Mattia Pasini and Danilo Petrucci, both Italian MotoGP riders, this year continue their cooperation with the Dainese & AGV team. Stefan Bradl, who has moved up from Moto2 to MotoGP, is also riding for the red devil.
In the Moto2 class, Dainese & AGV sponsor four riders: Simone Corsi and Pol Espargarò, already members of the team, and Andrea Iannone and Gino Rea, new entries this year. All four are equipped with the D-air® Racing system. Once again this year, AGV will be sponsoring the Como rider, Claudio Corti.
In the Moto3 class, Dainese & AGV sponsor: Luis Salom, equipped with the D-air® Racing system, Romano Fenati, Alessandro Tonucci, Luigi Morciano and the entire Italia FMI Team, and Niccolò Antonelli of the Gresini Team. Always in the Moto3 class, an agreement has been signed with the Mahindra Racing Team to sponsor the riders Danny Webb and Marcel Schroetter (Dainese & AGV) and all the staff of the Indian team.
In the World Superbike class, Dainese continues to sponsor 2010 world champion, Max Biaggi, together with riders Leon Haslam, Mark Aitchinson (Dainese & AGV) and Tom Sykes. The other riders competing under the Dainese flag will be Niccolò Canepa (Dainese & AGV) and Federico Sandi....More
